Like the original poster said in a comment, the information on FileInfo hasn't been updated to take Windows Phone cameras into consideration.
Like Thomas answered, the *.nar files are basically renamed *.zip files that include extra pictures, photo data, etc, and are related to Lumia Refocus and Rich Capture.
.thm and .tnl: These two files are ...
Those are files created by the Lumia camera app to provide certain features that are not possible with standard jpeg files. While the .thm and .tnl files are simple preview files for your movies (the small image you see in your pictures folder) the .nar includes things like living images or the data to refocus your picture.
You can open the .nar like a ...
I know this is late, but as of September 2015, this problem persists.
So here is what i use as a fix.
Connect the phone to the PC and browse to the folder where you have music that doesnt show up in the WP music app. Create a new folder at this location (keep it empty, you just have to create a new folder) on the PC, and then go up one folder. At this ...
Whilst the live tile has a big warning icon, and a warning saying the app is no longer available, you can set it up again by going to settings > call+SMS filter (near the bottom), and set it up again, and no more spam calls or texts
If your phone says there's no update and you don't get an error message it means that the update has not yet been enabled for your model-carrier-country combination.
Be aware that updates are rolled out in waves. And even if the update history page tells you there should be an update, from my own experience it can take up to three days until all devices ...
Go to Settings-> Phone Update and click 'Check for Updates'
If the update is not available for your device, then you can still get it via the Developer Preview, which is a completely free and official process.
To enroll in the Dev Preview do the following:
1) Sign up for the 'Windows App Studio': To do this, go to: http://appstudio.windows.com and sign ...
There are differences in function, not just in purpose.
Kid's Corner is more convenient to access. You enter Kid's Corner by swiping left from the lock screen. To switch back, don't swipe left at the lock screen. Apps Corner is accessed by pressing the Launch button in Settings > Apps Corner. You return to the regular profile by holding ...
There are news reports suggesting a November release, with the release expected to roll out model by model to (at least) all Lumia phones running Windows Phone 8.x in much the same way that previous updates have come.
Kids corner is a special area where you can have your kids access only the shops they you want them to have. It is always accessible. The rest of the phone is behind a pin.
App corner is a special area where you can have only a certain set of apps visible. You activate this mode manually. It can only be deactivated by a specific key press. It is meant to ...
It sounds like your company enforces a security policy on devices that are connected - you may see that the option to turn the password off is also disabled. This is the case with my employer's connection, although they allow up to 5 minutes before requiring a password.
If you remove your work email account, you should see the restrictions lifted until you ...

Unfortunately there is no Windows Phone settings menu to delete the cache of 3rd party apps. You could try to delete individual (voice) messages, but of course that might be a lot of work.
The easiest way at the moment would be a reinstall.
Also, you should consider contacting WhatsApp directly about this issue - for them it should be easy to offer a ...
This is a limitation by the OS - the sound will always play as long as the toast notification is visible which even is under 5 seconds. Unfortunately you can't change that duration, even as the app developer.
However you can tap the toast notification and drag it a bit to the right as if you would discard it but don't release it. This way you can keep the ...
Curiously this doesn't seem to be a "feature" yet. There is a proposal on the Windows Phone Uservoice Site you should check out (and vote for). The only way at the moment to get rid of those suggestions is doing a hard reset.
Other things I've tried that don't work:
Clearing temporary files
Doing a soft reset of the phone
I found the reason on windows phone website:
80072efd - There was a temporary issue with a server or your Internet connection during the update.
Make sure you're connected to the Internet and try again. It's best to connect to WiFi so you can avoid possible mobile data charges.
Not Only 80072efd error code, but if you face following any error code same ...
This article explains how to do it:
Here's how to set up Apps Corner:
Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap 'All settings.'
Scroll down and tap apps corner.
Tap 'Apps' and select the apps that you want people to use. Tap 'Done' when you're happy with your selection.
If your phone doesn't already ...
Yes It is possible but you need to unlock your phone. Download and install Interop tools and then open the app and tick down the Full FileSystem Access. Then restart your phone and connect to PC. You will have the full access now.
I looked at your profile and saw you're from the Czech Republic. Microsoft has a page showing the availability for each model per region for new updates. This page can be found here: Availability in Europe.
On this page, I didn't find any available updates for the Nokia Lumia 635.
If you have a Microsoft/Nokia Lumia phone:
According to Microsoft's official Lumia Update Availability in Asia Pacific page, the only Lumia model that has received Windows Phone 8.1 Update (8.10.14147.180) is the Lumia 930. If that's the phone you have, you should be able to go to Settings → Phone update, and download and install the latest version ...
Sadly this is a pretty generic error.
I suspect it is this one:
which is error 12029 on this page of windows http errors
How did I get to this error...
Well like most windows error codes if you split them in half you get 8007 2efd, generally ...
It would begin to download all of yours apps that were in backup, but then as soon as you don't have any space for anymore of the other apps, it will stop and warn you about low storage. It pauses all downloads and you would have to go into the store and retry the apps you want downloaded.
You cannot copy an app as such from phone to pc. If you have a windows PC, go to windows store and download the app. To sync, you have to have an account. If you could tell us the app you want in your PC, further help can be extended.
Do you want the app in your PC because you may lose the app from phone while updating? I don't think apps gets deleted when ...
March 17, 2016: I just upgraded my Lumia 930 to Windows 10 Mobile by using the Upgrade Advisor app from Microsoft's Windows 10 Mobile Upgrade page.
For this initial release, Microsoft says the phones and devices that can upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile are: Lumia 1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435, BLU Win ...
This seems to be caused by an other app, possibly the Microsoft Remote Desktop or Movie Moments app. Try opening and flipping the app to it's default orientation.
If you rotate Remote Desktop to be landscaped/flipped to the right side, your Glance screen will go back to normal without the need for a soft reset.
A soft reset should do the trick as well!
