At this moment the only way to completely exit the Windows Insider Preview is to reinstall the phone using the Windows Device Recovery Tool. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Keyboard and tap on your keyboard in the list of keyboards. There you will find all autocorrect options. I believe "Correct misspelled words" is the setting you want to turn off.

I found a way to fix that. If you try to restart the phone (or remove batter) u will notice that this message "Saving..." will continue to be issue. But if you make a soft reset/restart (will NOT delete data on your phone), for example for my Lumia 930 is press & hold Power + Volume down buttons - wait 10 seconds - and the phone will restart, this ...

In answer to the original question, no. Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 IoT are not the same thing. W10M is what goes on phones. Windows 10 IoT is the OS you can use on things like a Raspberry Pi. According to this Windows 8.1 Embedded will be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile.

Regarding the slowing down of the phone - this is something that a lot of users in the preview have complained about. Microsoft has stated repeatedly that the Preview is not intended for productive use. Looking at the Windows 10 Preview for Desktop I had similar issues that got fixed until the launch. There are rumors that Microsoft removed the Android ...

You should wait : the current mobile build has a little bug with the storage setting. If you move from WP8 to W10M, your apps on the SD card will still be there. But with the current build we can't change the storage settings, so you should set them up before upgrading.

Last few months have been quite frustrating. First I was told my Lumia 920 wasn't getting Windows 10, then it got absolutely shut down from insider as well. Well, this weekend I've decided to spend some time on it, and along with some interesting links from @Indrek's answer, I finally got it. If - like me - you are looking for a short answer, then the ...

It always happened to me to no matter what windows version it was and recently it happened while upgrading to windows 10 too the only solution that worked for me then and now is to remove the memory card and reset the phone using the Volume Down key + Power button after which the upgrade will continue so try doing that and you wont get stuck at rotating gear ...

Doing a hardware reset will take it back to factory conditions, for the currently installed OS. To get the latest insider preview, you'd need to use the Lumia Recovery tool to go back to 8.1, and then roll forward to 10 as there was a bug discovered going from the previous Windows 10 build. Doing a factory reset will remove all user content (installed apps, ...

These looks like "pseudo localised" text - i.e. it's practically in English, but uses non-latin characters to check that character encoding issues haven't been introduced, and that everything that should be localised is (i.e. it's obviously wrong, but the QA staff can identify the meaning, rather than just seeing a blank label). This is a common practice ...

Try a hard reset by pressing the Power, Volume Down, and Camera buttons until the phone vibrates. Then release the power button and keep the other two pressed for 5 seconds. More info here. If that doesn't work, you can try the Windows Phone Recovery Tool. If that still doesn't work, you may need to either send your phone in to be repaired or get a new phone....

Unfortunately they don't have this option in Windows 10 Technical Preview. Best way to address this is to give feedback to Microsoft using Feedback App (Shortcut: Press Volume Down and the Power button at the same time).

Have you tried to use Windows Device Recovery Tools? I have the same problem before. I tried to use Windows Phone Recovery Tools to rollback to WP8.1 Denim and re-upgrade it to Windows 10 Mobile. It works like charm :D

The latest Insider build is fairly stable, but you're probably best off waiting until it's officially released. They're expecting to start the rollout sometime in December.
