If you don't want notification from Calendar at all, go to Settings > Lock Screen > Notifications and change calendar from options.
I figured out the problem. The app needs to be installed on the phone itself, not the SD card. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it accordingly.
I found that out here, under Known Live tile / Lock screen issues.

Ok, solution was really quite simple, this may be enough:

Settings > Lock Screen > "Screen times out after" is the only place you can configure the lock screen timeout setting.
The times listed in the dropdown appear to vary by device and firmware version.
For example, I had a lend of a developer Lumia 920 from Nokia and it listed many timeout values including "never". Yet my own Lumia 920 (UK, unlocked) has ...
The timeout options vary by hardware and provider - as Shawn noted this might be due to display burning concerns. Unfortunately it seems like you can't force other options to show up at this point. However, developers can force the display to stay on as long as their app is visible.
Still, the real issue is that Groove should not stop downloading when your ...
As a matter of fact you can set the timeout to be never.

Load the image from gallery in the app.
First you are in a view where you can enlarge or shrink canvas by dragging with finger from the corner markers. You can also rotate and move the image itself, often accidentally... It's a ...

The best way to restore to previous state is to use the WP8 built-in feature for "settings backup" during the first time the phone is turned on.

The SIM PIN screen is currently broken. So far the only fix I've found, is to remove the PIN code altogether. You can bypass the SIM screen by pressing the "back" button when you start up the phone. If you do try to enter the pin code and enter it, the phone will freeze and you will need to reset it to access the phone Again.
I have the same issue. The sim pincode screen is NOT working. It seems to have changed. Instead of Enter there is an OK button and the input is not shown.
By placing the sim card in turned on mode I can pass by the Sim Pincode screen!

Go to Settings -> Lockscreen.
Here you can choose an app to show detailed status i.e) in the line next to time. By default it is calender.
Also there are apps which show quick status , one of them is the mail icon in your screenshot.
You can change them in your settings.
Go to here: https://account.microsoft.com/devices and click on "Find my phone". Then click "Lock". Enter a new Lock code to lock your phone with a code you know. Then go back to the phone to unlock it with the new code. This also overrides the delay. This only works of course if your phone has a working internet connection.
